- Dust Devil can conjure a storm of magic sand. He could manipulate his sand to confuse his enemies, create weaponry and protective shields and even give life to sand golems.

- Dust Devil is known to be a user of highly advanced Sleep and Dream magic, where he can induce his opponents into a deep slumber and manipulate their dreams. Whatever happened in their dreams can be reflected in their physical bodies.

Appearance
Sandy Smokes is a large and muscular man with sun-kissed skin. He has dark brown wavy hair and a thick full beard. Despite his gorgeous looks, he tends to wear a fierce and intense look which intimidates the people around him.
Often seen in his sand dunes outfit, he wears a hooded dark brown cloak with a sand-blasted sash around his hairy torso. A thick belt sash wrapped around his waist. On his left hand, he wears a bracelet, heavily decorated with feathers, that resembles closely to a dream catcher.
Personality
Sandy usually appears reserved and cold; some say the Dust Devil might seem robotic.
Dust Devil is a man of few words and is often seen to be in deep thoughts. As the division leader of Percussion, his men often see him as a highly intelligent leader who carefully composes his actions and carries them out with methodical purpose.
However, in actuality, Sandy is an extremely lazy individual. He simply wants to spend most of his time doing absolutely nothing. Taking long afternoon naps and staring blankly into space were some of the things he truly enjoyed. But getting that spare time is a luxury. Sandy had learned to be decisive and highly resourceful.
Always choosing the path of least resistance, Sandy prefers to let others do the dirty work for him. Rarely would he take the initiative to take action on his own unless deemed necessary. In such cases, he usually becomes noticeably angrier.
Origins
Sandy’s origins were not known to many. Some of his men said he was a nature sorcerer from the Hague Domain, but the truth was never known.
A rumor spread that he was scouted to be part of the Banshee Ensemble, a Rustmorian underground organization of elite assassins. It was said that the previous leader ruffled up a sleeping traveler in one of Rustmore’s sketchiest alleys and got taken down in a split second.
Since then, the name Dust Devil spread across the streets of Bismuth as the new leader of the Percussion division.
