Chapter 14

“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” exclaimed a worried mother as Phantom carried a child out from the blazing building. The child rested weakly on the masked hero’s perfectly sculptured chest, within the embrace of the hunk’s bulging biceps. She was the last of the trapped victims.

Kai smiled excitedly at his buddy, Giotto, as it was their time to shine. They were in their new hero costumes as Flux and Geo. As Flux, Kai’s sleeveless white-blue hoodie suit gave his toned muscular arms a free range of motion to manipulate his water elemental powers. On his utility belt, he carried two small flasks of water that he could readily use. A white domino mask rested on his soft and handsome Asian features.

Giotto, on the other hand, left himself shirtless with a pair of brown pants. He wore a pair of large fingerless gloves with metal guards that extend down his muscular arms. A link chain belt wrapped round his slender waist, from which Geo could draw on for his earth elemental powers.

The standby firefighters went in full force, knowing that all of the victims were out. Flux and Geo began their assist with the firefighting efforts with their respective water and sand elemental powers to put out the flames.

Cheers erupted from behind the cordon tapes when they saw Phantom. The silver-clad hero smiled at his fans which encouraged an even greater roar of applause. Many of the fans were screaming for Phantom with a small number were rooting for the rookie heroes.

Still focused on putting out the fire, Flux leaned over to his friend, whispering, “Hey, this feeling is pretty sweet.”

“Yea! I frickin’ love this, bro,” exclaimed Geo, as he basked in the admiration of his new fan base.

*Buzz*

Phantom’s communicator went off. Reading its content, the hero informed the rookies, “There’s a Kaiju threat. I’m heading over now to give Ember Man and Velocity backup.”

Both rookie heroes’ eyes lit up. “Sweet!”

“No. No. No. You two stay here and clean this up. Head back to base after. It’s too early for you to fight a Kaiju,” instructed Phantom, as he lifted off the ground. Without another word, he zipped off through the air towards Blue Field Outskirts.

“Damn…” Geo whined in disappointment.

Flux placed a hand on his friend’s well-built shoulder. “We will have our chances.”

Chapter 15

“Uughh,” Wits moaned as a blinding spotlight shone onto his handsome face. A massive headache throttled between his temples from his defeat with The Imp. He tried to raise his hands to massage his head but quickly realized that he could not. As his vision slowly returned, he assessed his situation. He was still in costume and was laid down on a wide metal table, slightly angled.

His limbs were bound in a T-position, with his muscular arms stretched out and tightly held down onto the table in thick metal chains. More chains of metal link circled his slender toned waist and another one around his neck. Shackles wrapped around his cuffed ankles, keeping his toned legs fastened down.

The room was dimly lit. He could vaguely see that the room was sparse. An orange glow lit up the sides of his vision. There were two magic circles revolving around his head.

Crap! I need to get out of here. I can’t believe I was foolish to do this site visit alone.

Wits trashed about in his chains. His eyes lit up a blue glow as he enhanced his own abilities in an attempt to break free. The thick metal binds held fast. As he struggled futilely to get out of his bondage, a thin layer of sweat soaked his white dress shirt.

Amid his struggles, his mental alarm bells went off. Someone was approaching from behind him.

“Wakey-wakey,” chuckled a playful voice. The Imp waltzed his way playfully around the telepath hero to face him.

“Augh! Let me go now!” Wits demanded and shot him a cold defiant glance.

“So feisty,” The Imp leaned into Wits, just inches from the hero’s striking face. Whiffing the hero’s sweaty scent, he smiled. “So sweet. So different from the other one.”

Wits furrowed his brows, “The other one?”

“Oh, my new pet! Do you know him? His hero’s name was Imperial something?”

“The hell? It was you?!”

Anger brewed within the righteous hero. He had found the perpetrator, but the hunk was in no situation to prosecute him.

“Where is Imperial Flame? What had you done to him?”

The Imp laughed, “Calm down. Calm down. I know you are excited as I am, but for different reasons. Today, the focus is on you. I heard that you are a really powerful telepath.”

Looking at the hero’s bounded muscular form, The Imp took in the sight of the hero’s bulging pecs from the opened collar of the dress shirt and his straining biceps in the white muscle-tight sleeves. “And such a sexy one too.”

The Imp placed his hands on the hero’s collar bone and reached in under his sweat-drenched shirt. He groped the helpless hero’s supple pecs and gave them a tight squeeze.

“Get your filthy hands off me!” Wits’ eyes widened. A strange sensation touched his mind at the same moment. “W-what the hell…”

“Ohhh! You can feel them? You can feel them, Wits? The feelers from my runic magic?” The Imp questioned excitedly.

Wits closed his eyes and released a mental blast around his mind, pushing back on the strange and intruding sensation.

“This is the first time in centuries that I have such a direct resistance!” The Imp’s eyes glowed with delight. “A worthy telepath indeed.”

Quickly, the feelers returned to wrapped around the mental barrier Wits set up to protect his mind. Wits’ eyes glowed an intense gleam of blue as he intended to not only win this mental battle but turn the situation in his favor. A strong penetrative mental energy shot along the feelers into The Imp’s runic magic.

The Imp winced back as the first wave of mental energy infiltrated his own magic. “Wow… you are really good. Still trying to take over my mind with your powers?”

Wits’ brows furrowed intensely. His own mental powers were strong but not strong enough. Simultaneously, he activated his augmentation powers to strengthen his mental attack. “Enhance Telepathy!”

The Imp’s mental blocks were quickly shattered by Wits’ powerful and enhanced mental attack. Realizing that he might actually lose this mental battle, a sense of unfamiliar fear gripped The Imp’s heart.

Reacting on pure instincts, the villain quickly leaned in towards the bound hero on the table. Without warning, he sunk a forceful gut punch into the telepath’s muscular abs, in an attempt to disrupt the hero’s mental attack. At that same instance, Wits’ mental link breached The Imp’s mind.

“AUGH!” The hero shouted out as excruciating pain shot from his abdomen. His short mental link was disrupted. A trail of blood spilled from the corner of his mouth as his defenseless body took a devastating punch.

Shaking off the mental intrusion, The Imp’s face quickly turned dark and fumed with anger.

“HOW DARE YOU?!” The villain bellowed as he slapped the hero’s handsome face. The villain quickly swung his right hand out to the side and another orange magic circle appeared. He had never felt so much anger in a long time.

Still wincing from the burning pain in his abs, Wits spat out some blood and smirked victoriously. That split second was all he needed. Now he knew what The Imp’s weakness was.

Chapter 16

Just a mere 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of Cindra Metropolitan in the farmlands of Blue Fields Outskirts, a towering beast plowed its ways through the agriculture. The skyscraper-like bipedal Kaiju had a snapping turtle head with an armadillo-like shell. A long thick green tail extended from the end of its shell. For its arms, it was equipped with two large razor-sharp scythes.

The fields around the massive creature were filled with harvest at the peak of summer but devoid of people. The numerous farmers had evacuated their farmlands upon the beast’s sighting.

Ember Man stood firmly on his feet and held up both hands. In his signature red costume, the fire Elementalist was executing a barrage of powerful fire arrows that homed in onto the beast’s turtle-like face. The creature bellowed painfully in response.

After evacuating the last few stubborn farmers, Velocity circled the beast’s gigantic body. The yellow-clad hero rained down powerful high-speed punches. However, it did nothing to the tough exterior shell.

Relying on Ember Man’s firepower, Velocity focused on distracting the beast and keep it within the farmlands, away from the city. They had been at it for close to an hour.

As one of the scythes cleanly sliced a tractor into two, Ember Man shouted out to his partner. “This Kaiju is way too tough and is highly resistant to fire! I need a lot more firepower!” His hands glowed a bright red as he switched his attacks to launching massive fireballs at the monster.

“Yes, I know. We need Wits’ support here,” shouted Velocity back. The speedster was panting profusely as the prolonged use of his powers was consuming more energy than he expected. The hero was relying on the high-calories pills in his utility belt for fuel. Both Top Five were drenched in their own sweat as they continued to push back the beast.

Out of the blue, a green energy blast was hurtling through the air and landed right onto the beast’s eye, causing it to flinch in pain.

“Wow, this one looks tough,” said Phantom as he had arrived at the scene, levitating in the air with his hands glowing green. “Where is Wits?”

Ember Man still focused on his fire attacks, responded, “Glad to see you here, Phantom. Wits had an urgent lead to follow up on. He texted that it could be related to Imperial Flames, and would come as soon as he’s done.”

“Someone should support him,” said Phantom as he felt a sinking feeling in his gut.

Velocity looked up at the silver-clad hero, “Mate, we have got our hands full here for now. Wits can handle himself.”

Damn… What’s Matthew (Wits) thinking? You better stay safe, thought Phantom. A massive scythe sliced through the air towards Phantom. The hunk activated his ghost abilities and phased through the attack.

The silver hero flew down to the beast’s gargantuan legs. Grabbing hold of the hide of its thick legs, Phantom focused his energy. Turning something this huge intangible required a lot of concentration and energy. The creature slowly but surely turned a translucent shade as it sunk into the ground. Being weightless in this state, Phantom easily dragged the beast halfway into the earth before releasing his powers.

Seeing the Kaiju re-solidifying and rendered immobile in the solid ground, Phantom flew up in the air again. His mind was worried about his boyfriend. He never had such a bad feeling about something before. “So can we see what is Wits up to -“

A thunderous roar interrupted the hero, as the Kaiju struggled against his earthy prison. With its immense strength, the beast quickly broke free from the ground.

Palm to his face, a dismayed Phantom sighed, “Damn it… This is going to take a while.”

Chapter 17

Despite being tied down, Wits smirked victoriously. To think the method to counter The Imp was so simple. He could get out in no time.

≍∌∀≸⥉⋊≍∌∀-” chanted Wits before his words were abruptly cut. He continued to mouth the ancient words but not a sound to be heard. A look of confusion washed across his face.

The Imp clapped his hands on his tights and burst out laughing, “You thought you can get rid of me?”

“Yes, my curse is that if I hear my name repeated three times in rapid succession, Sinner’s chains will drag me back into the Hague domain. But what if you can’t talk?”

Wits glanced at the villain in anger and confusion. He continued to mouth the ancient being’s name without a sound.

“I have taken measures against this long ago. It’s not my first rodeo, especially with pesky Telepaths like you.”

The hulking hunk started swaying his head from side to side, screaming at the top of his voice. His body was drenched in sweat as he struggled amidst his binds. The hero was so close to having the villain banished.

As he calmed down, he noticed a figure with platinum-blonde hair just inches behind him, barely visible from his peripheral view. He also noticed how the airwaves around him had been manipulated.

“I see that you have noticed Pitch. One of my most loyal and treasured pet,” The Imp introduced as he beckoned the figure to step forward.

Pitch had the appearance of a late teenager, around the age of 18. He had very sharp exotic features. His light gray eyes were glassy and void of spirit. He stood at a height of 5ft5′ (170cm), dressed in a poet shirt with bishop sleeves. The laced-up V-neck of his shirt alluded to his slender and pale twink body. He looked like he was someone important from the medieval ages.

“He was a souvenir from one of my travels. Pirouz Sylvain. I call him Pitch for short. The third son of a powerful and influential Aural Vampire family. They possess a set of very unique abilities. Generations after generations, they have honed their innate bat ultrasonic abilities to the limits. They are master manipulators of sound and possess a complete command of speech. Every now and then, I will enslave a promising one from their kind just for their useful abilities,” smiled a proud Imp.

A look of desperation washed around Wits’ handsome face. He cursed in telepathic thoughts, “Damn it!”

“Such a smart stud you are. You get it now. Pitch here helps me with people who discovered my little secret,” winked the Imp as he laughed hysterically.

≍∌∀≸⥉⋊⋇! ≍∌∀≸⥉⋊⋇! ≍∌∀≸⥉⋊⋇!”

The Imp shook his head, “This is futile. Telepathic thoughts are not going to banish me to Hague.”

“Arghhh!” Wits struggled against his binds again. His jet-black hair was now drenched in sweat and hung messily from his forehead.

The villain pondered in deep thoughts. His submissive magic was not working against Wits’ powerful mental fortitude. He needed to break down the hero’s strong willpower.

“Ooo… this will be fun,” giggled The Imp to himself as a proud look flashed on his handsome face. His mind was slowly laying out a vile plan to break the telepath’s mind.

In a quick motion, he gripped the bound hunk by his shirt and ripped it open, sending buttons rocketing across the dim room. The shirt rested on the sides of the hero’s exposed sculpted torso. Two slabs of firm muscles rested on the hero’s chest, with two dark brown nipples slowly getting erected in the cold damp air.

“What are you doing? Get away from me!!” screamed the hunk telepathically. As he struggled amidst his bind, his muscular torso contorted with each motion, giving The Imp a full display of his captive’s incredible physique. Fear flashed across the hero’s eyes as he recalled the recording of Imperial Flame.

“The doc said your powers are not just telepathy. Your specialty is actually in Augmentation, isn’t it? You possess the rare ability to enhance the physical and superpower abilities of yourself and others. That’s how you could fight hand to hand with my pets.”

Wits gritted his teeth, unaware of what lie ahead for him.

“Let’s see how that plays in your favor, shall we?” laughed The Imp evilly.

The Imp rubbed the hero’s washboard abs with both hands, feeling each individual lightly-haired mounts of muscle. The ticklish feeling encouraged a silenced moan from the hero.

“Already so sensitive? I hope you don’t let me down.”

The villain ended his exploration of the hero with his fingers on the hero’s brown erected nipples. With a flick to the nips, The Imp sent a wave of pleasure across the hunk’s chained-up body. The hero bit his lips in an attempt to stifle his moan.

“Pitch,” he called out to the platinum-blonde teen.

The young vampire commanded softly and surreally in a melodic voice directed at Wits’ constrained body, “Enhance sensitivity…”

Wits eyes uncontrollably glowed blue.

“W-what? How?”

The Imp smiled. He flicked the brown taut nipples again but this time the erotic sensation was ten-folds stronger. Pleasure exploded from his nipples and shot right to the pleasure centers in his brain.

With the unexpected tide of sensations, Wits felt his eyelids fluttered as his jaws hung open. A satisfying, but silenced moan escaped his lips. The stud’s mind was rendered temporarily blank, and the orange magic circles around his head lit up.

“FUCK! Oh… F-Fuck!”

The sweat-drenched hero was heaving heavily as he struggled to recover from the shock. He was not expecting such strong pleasurable sensations.

The Imp grimaced wickedly, pleased that his plan was working out, “Oh, my boy. Such a lewd reaction from a simple tease. This is going to be fun.”
