Abilities (Level)

Fracture Overload (S)

  • Fishbones can perceive and manipulate invisible “fracture lines” in any target or environment. By focusing his will, he can apply immense pressure to these lines, forcing them to expand and buckle. On a person, this manifests as excruciating pain, forced muscle spasms, and the catastrophic overloading of their senses—turning a whisper into a deafening roar, a touch into a searing burn, or a flicker of pleasure into a soul-shattering, body-breaking orgasm.

Self-Overload (S)

  • Fishbones turns his own power inward, forcing his bones, muscles, and skin to their absolute limits and beyond. This grants him monstrous strength and durability, allowing him to shatter coral pillars with his fists and withstand blows that would kill a lesser man. While active, glowing red and yellow fractures erupt across his body, and he feels no pain.

Rage State – Total Overload (Z)

  • The ultimate, uncontrollable release. When pushed beyond his breaking point or when the internal pressure becomes too great, Fishbones’ mind shatters. The fracture lines explode outward from his body in a torrent of raw power, warping and destroying everything in a wide radius. His strength and power increase exponentially with no upper limit, but he loses all semblance of consciousness, attacking friend and foe alike until the energy is spent or he is forcibly subdued.
Weaknesses

Alcohol

  • Fishbones has very weak tolerance to Alcohol. Drinking just a sip can put him into a drunken stupor. During which he loses control over his actions and could display a range of emotions from being extremely aroused to violent and raging anger.

Lack of Control

  • His greatest strength is also his greatest weakness. He has limited control over his power, especially his Rage State. He’s as likely to destroy his own objectives as he is to achieve them.

Emotional Triggers

  • His power is linked to his rage and pain. Abilities that can calm the mind or soothe emotions are effective at dampening his powers, potentially even forcing him out of his Rage State.

Appearance

Fishbones is a large, bulky man with a tanned bronze complexion. He has short black hair and dark brown eyes, kept in a crew cut. Fishbones has a highly well-defined body, with large pectorals and mountainous abs. Both his bulging arms were heavily tattooed.

As a fisherman, he wears comfortable clothes and is often seen in a sleeveless shirt and knee-length pants. He usually wears flip-flops and has a necklace adorned with the teeth of various beasts. Fishbones would dress up in a sleeveless high-collar jacket with a white shirt and long grey pants for more formal occasions.

Personality

Fishbones is a calm and strong-willed man who typically approaches things methodically. He has also been shown to be highly intelligent, often coupling his brute force with his quick wits to overcome his opponent.

He can be pretty obsessive, tending to hyper-focus on things so hard that he loses track of everything else going on around him. While this might cause him to miss things outside his area of focus, it allows him to get a lot done in a short time by devoting his full attention to them.

Fishbones constantly searches for peace and eventually discovers that rolling waves are his sanctuary. He slowly builds a life in a small fishing village, enjoying the tranquility of the waves and channeling his emotions into spear fishing.

When he is drunk, Fishbones becomes very emotional. The most common trait is his explosive anger. Unable to control his immense internal wrath, he will often go on a mindless and unstoppable rampage until the effects of alcohol wear off.

Origins

As the Sprite aligned to the Wrath commandment, Fishbones was born with the power to perceive the world differently—not as a solid whole, but as a complex network of invisible stress points and fracture lines. He could see the weak points in a rock, the structural flaws in a building, and most disturbingly, the fault lines in a person’s body and mind.

In his younger days, his anger was a wildfire. His rage wasn’t just destructive; it was surgically precise. He learned that by focusing his wrath, he could apply pressure to these fracture lines, causing catastrophic failures. He didn’t just punch a wall, he found the single point where the entire structure would shatter. He didn’t just fight, he found the nerve cluster where a single touch would send his opponents into convulsions of agony or overload their senses until they screamed.

This ability to “break” anyone and anything with terrifying efficiency made him a constant source of unrest in the Hague Domain.

His destructive path was relentless. Any slight, any irritation, could cause him to hyper-focus on the source of his anger. His rampages were legendary. He would leave behind not rubble, but dust—not injured foes, but mentally and physically shattered beings.

The tipping point came when his constant destruction came to disrupt the other sprites’ territories, and tension arose among them. It was the strongest of the Sprites who came to pacify the raging Wrath.

With magic, the Sprite helped Fishbones suppress his anger and seal his emotions in the form of the tattoos on his arms. Over time, the Sprite taught Fishbones how to control his anger and channel it in more productive ways. This suppression also helped him develop greater precision in his fracture manipulation abilities.

Now, Fishbones walks a fine line between his peaceful life as a fisherman and the destructive potential that lies within him. The tranquility of the ocean helps keep his rage at bay, but when provoked, the full force of his Fracture Overload abilities can be unleashed with devastating consequences.
