About

Rustmore is located close to the equator. It has over 23 million residents, with around 20 million residing in the City of Rustmore, and the rest is scattered across the country in numerous slums.

There are tall mountainous ranges that separate Rustmore from Eons Highlands, Empire of the Sands. The most expansive is known as Cypress Mountains.

The flag of the Rustmore consists of a black and white flag with a gear. The gear represents technology, as it is commonly used as a symbol of mechanics and machinery. It’s also often associated with progress and innovation. The black-and-white color scheme is associated with simplicity and clarity.

City of Rustmore

The City of Rustmore is the capital of Rustmore, situated on the continent’s west coast.

The City of Rustmore is split into two distinct societies – Astatine and Bismuth.

Astatine is a thriving and progressive part of the City where noblemen and powerful influences drive the growth of Rustmore. Significant technological advances were developed and delivered to the world almost daily.

On the other hand, Bismuth is a polluted undercity where the black market thrives. Dark and unorthodox research from Astatine was welcomed in Bismuth. The reckless nature of this dark city had caused the slums in Bismuth to become highly toxic. This part of the City is divided into four territories, each ruled by a division within the Banshee Ensemble, each embodying a distinct art of assassination that sustains Bismuth.

The City of Rushmore has a good trading relationship with the Republic of Kant and Cindra. While volumes of trade occur extensively between the nations, they often do not see eye-to-eye on many other political issues.

As a nation that values technology, Rustmorians highly emphasize progress and technological advancements. They tend to pursue these advancements with great creativity and passion.

League of Steel HQ

The League of Steel is located in the City of Rustmore. The headquarters is a tall silver building with 54 floors, inhabited by League of Steel heroes and staff.

It is located close to the Royal Palace of Rustmore to serve as a protective body for the royals. Many aspiring Cindra and Kant heroes do their apprenticeships with Rustmorian heroes.

Royal Castle of Rustmore

The Royal Castle of Rustmore sits in the middle of the Astatine District. It is a majestic structure crafted from precious metals and adorned with glistening crystals. Its exterior, fashioned from gleaming gold and silver, catches the sunlight, casting a warm, golden hue that dazzles the eyes of onlookers.

Inside, the King’s Chamber boasts pillars forged from precious metals that rise to meet a ceiling adorned with colossal crystal chandeliers. These chandeliers hang like suspended galaxies, illuminating the room with a soft, ethereal glow. The throne itself, a masterpiece of craftsmanship, is constructed from a seamless blend of gold and crystal—a symbol of the regal authority that resides within.

The Royal Garden, an extension of this luxurious castle, is surrounded by trellises of intertwined gold and silver vines, and crystal-clear ponds reflect the grandeur of the architecture. The Royal Family of Rustmore hosts grand events and gatherings here.

Hidden behind regal corridors and guarded doorways is a Royal Training Ground that serves as a testament to the Royal Family’s commitment to martial prowess and strategic mastery. The vast training ground features a meticulously crafted arena where the royal guards engage in practice duels.

Notes And Significant Events
  • For generations, Rustmorians welcomed the Royal Family with open arms, seen as benevolent leaders who guided Rushmore to unprecedented heights. However, a subtle shift occurred during King Ramon Mikhail X‘s reign.

Whispers of corruption and excess began to circulate among the people as the new ruler seemed to succumb to the temptations of power. However, the citizens of Rustmore hesitated to challenge the status quo, unsure of the consequences of questioning the very foundation of their city’s history.

Port of Astatine

The Port of Astatine, nestled along the coastline of Astatine, serves as a bustling gateway for the transportation of high-tech products that fuel the advancements of the City of Rustmore.

However, there lies a shadowy underbelly as well. Despite its location in the pristine Astatine, some of the outlaws from the polluted undercity of Bismuth have found ways to exploit the port for their illicit activities. Despite the best efforts of the port authorities to maintain strict security protocols, the allure of profit and the reckless nature of Bismuth’s underworld caused these activities to persist.

Unwittingly, the Port of Astatine has become a conduit for the transportation of contraband and stolen technology for supervillains around the world.

North of Bismuth

In the north, Woodwind Division prevails as the territory of cunning and strategy. Casinos and drug dens line the streets, where luck and deception go hand in hand. The ruling faction in Woodwind is known for its expertise in ranged combat and toxin manipulation. They hold sway over the minds and vices of the populace, weaving a web of influence through the intoxicating haze of the district.

South Of Bismuth

The southern region of Bismuth, run by the String Divison, is a domain of shadows and subtlety. Tailoring and laundry establishments provide the perfect cover for covert operations. Hidden alleys and secret passages crisscross the territory, allowing the denizens to move in the shadows with grace and silence. Here, espionage and clandestine activities are a way of life for most of String’s assassins.

East of Bismuth

The eastern expanse of Bismuth is a realm of indulgence and luxury. Lavish restaurants, bars, and hotels cater to the whims of the elite. The Percussion Division, who rule the intricate east of Bismuth, is composed of highly versatile assassins, masters of their unique style of assassination.

West of Bismuth

To the west lies a domain of raw power and physical prowess. Dominated by a colossal wrestling ring, where fighters battle for supremacy, the Brass Division runs a place where strength is revered above all. The district echoes the sounds of bone-crushing combat, and the ruling division maintains control through force and intimidation.

Cypress Mountains

The Cypress Mountains are a towering range that separates the City of Rustmore from the Eons Highlands and the Empire of the Sands. These stunning mountains are named for their lush green slopes and snow-capped peaks, which create a sense of timeless natural beauty.

The Cypress Mountains act as both an imposing obstacle and a stunning backdrop to the areas that they separate. As visitors climb up the mountains from Rustmore, they are surrounded by the refreshing and chilly atmosphere of coniferous forests, where the fragrance of pine fills the crisp mountain air.

The journey to Eons Highlands is a challenging ascent through winding mountain trails with sheer cliffs and rocky outcrops that demand careful navigation. The air grows thinner, and the temperature drops, creating an inhospitable environment.

At the heart of the Cypress Mountains lies one of the world’s greatest engineering marvels—the Tunnel of Grace, a massive tunnel that connects Rustmore to the Empire of the Sands. This feat of architecture has become a symbol of ingenuity, providing a commercial gateway through the peaks.

Travelers passing through the Tunnel of Grace experience a transition from the cool, pine-scented air to the warm and arid landscapes of the Empire of the Sands.

Notes And Significant Events
  • Deep within the rugged mountainous regions, there is a vast and abundant supply of raw precious metals. This supply fueled the ever-innovative nature of the City of Rustmore, which became known for its cutting-edge technology and advanced infrastructure.

During one of the mining excavations, a team of skilled miners stumbled upon a special type of metal that looked like a pink stone. Upon closer inspection, they realized that this metal had unique properties that could affect the anatomy of humans and other similar beings in profound ways.
