Appearance
Erik Greaves is a tall and muscular man with medium-length blond hair. Occasionally, he sports a blond stubble. With a chiseled jawline and handsome chin, he stands out as one of the striking superhero members of The Hammers, the top superhero squad in the League of Steel.
Erik spends a lot of time at the gym to keep up with his superhero colleagues. As such, he had developed a toned body with beautifully round shoulders, firm pecs, and a set of shredded abs. Casually, he loves to wear a loose tank top and fitting jeans.
As Voltage, the electric Elementalist’s super suit is primarily blue and yellow. A lightning bolt crest is printed in the middle of his chest. His tight costume wrapped around his body, highlighting his muscles. Oddly enough, his suit displayed his superhero ass prominently to whoever was looking.
Personality
Erik is an energetic and reckless man. Often, the Elementalist gets too caught up in the excitement of the moment, focusing on what is in front of him, that he neglects his duties and responsibilities. His spontaneous personality makes him rely on luck or opportunities to get where he wants to be. This also makes him a poor planner, where Erik rarely makes detailed plans for his missions but instead works with things as they come.
As one of the boldest heroes, Voltage is not known for holding back. He puts on a strong and arrogant front towards many of his peers, coming off as arrogant and self-centered. But this was part of a facade to hide his more sensitive side of him, in which the hero is very vulnerable to criticism.
Even so, Voltage cares a lot about his friends. He pays attention to the people around him and often spreads excitement and happiness to those he enjoys being with.
Origins
Erik discovered his electric powers at a very early age. Coming from a dysfunctional family, a belly full of food and a good night’s sleep were luxuries for the young teenager. The Rustmorian teen had to fend for himself daily.
Erik would use his powers to hotwire cars and steal them to make a quick buck. While working the streets, he met Mitchell Nielsen, a young pick-pocketer, who quickly became one of his closest friends and love partner. Together, they roamed the alleys at night, stealing cars and wallets, but never harmed any innocent citizen in their petty crimes.
Unfortunately for Erik, his eyes were set upon one influential family’s luxury car. Despite strong dissuasion from his boyfriend, the hot-headed teenager broke into the car and quickly got arrested.
When the authorities realized that the super-powered boy had such an astounding ability, an opportunity fell onto his lap— the chance to work for Rustmore’s superhero alliance, “League of Steel” or years of jail time.
The choice was obvious for the excitable Elementalist. A life of crime-fighting was much more interesting than pickpocketing and stealing cars.
