Appearance

Sebastian Castle is a tall, muscular man with light brown hair, clear blue eyes, and well-trimmed stubble. His kind and friendly face and gorgeous smile draw people close to him, allowing him to make friends easily.

His lean and well-built body clearly shows when he wears tight-fitting shirts and skinny jeans. As a former competitive swimmer, Sebastian has developed a set of broad shoulders and ripped abs from his vigorous exercise regime.

As Covert, he wears a sleek white full-body suit with a black cut-out around his waist. Across his slender waist and thick thighs were black and white diamonds. The upper part of his suit also includes a white hood that the superhero uses occasionally but prefers to keep down. He also wears a white mask over his handsome face.

Personality

Sebastian presents himself as a well-mannered, friendly, and homely man. Many assumed he spent quality time with his family and friends, but that was not always true. Deep down, Sebastian secretly resents his father and the upper-class people who scour the lower class.

As a sensitive man, Sebastian developed a profound sense of detecting emotional responses from those around him. He is empathic to people who are weaker or less fortunate than him, wanting to protect them. That, however, made Sebastian vulnerable to internalizing the negative moods and mindset. Often, the young man felt lonely and invisible in a world that never seemed to appreciate the traits that make him unique.

Driven by the world’s troubles, Sebastian strives hard to create a better world for himself and the people precious to him. Hence, he took up the heroic personality – Covert.

For his duties, Covert is a highly cautious and non-combative hero who specializes in scouting and reconnaissance. He prefers to study his targets closely and provide critical information to the other superheroes. As a support superhero, Covert takes great pride in his work and would meticulously prepare for his operations. Covert’s missions often concluded with great success.

Origins

In the buzzing hustle of Cindra Metropolitan’s Orange Walk District, there was a large international technology company that could rival even the great Luxtor conglomerate. Castle Technologies provided essential services to the public, managed data safety, and facilitated big data usage.

Leading the empire was Roman Castle. The highly conservative tycoon sought a male heir to lead his company. However, Roman’s wife only gave birth to daughters despite numerous attempts. That led to more frustration, ultimately leading to Roman having an affair with an attractive young woman.

Born as a bastard child, Sebastian was unwillingly adopted into the Castle family. As a result, he was separated from his biological mother.

His father cast out Sebastian’s mother without batting an eyelid. Whenever Sebastian tried to seek out his mother, he would be caught by his father or their servants and often end up with a bruised eye and beaten wounds over his young body.

But even so, his father regarded Sebastian as a successor to his company. With his father showing strong favoritism and grooming, Sebastian’s stepmother became aware of his origins but decided to act oblivious to keep the wealth and lifestyle.

Despite how better off he was, Sebastian never forgets what happened to his mother. With a deep-seated grudge, he instead decided to become the ‘perfect’ son for Roman and hoped that he could change the world with his inherited wealth and power one day. This way, people like him and his mother could have a place in this better world.

When Sebastian reached the age of seventeen, he realized that things started to disappear around him. Soon, he found that he had developed the power to render himself and anything he touched invisible.

Curious about the source of his powers, he studied the Castle family for answers but came up with nothing. That turned his attention to his mother. Were there secrets he wasn’t aware of?

With his newfound abilities, the young Sebastian frequently sneaked out of his privileged household into the shady world of illegal corporate deals and black market activities. Under the name of Covert, the superhero would hunt down anyone who stood in his way.
