Solar Power (Z)

Beginning with the rising of the Sun at dawn, Captain Solar gains his powers rapidly. His growth peaks from 12 pm to 3 pm before declining when approaching dusk. At his peak hours, he is considered invincible with unmatched strength. Outside of the sun hours, he relies on his solar reserves.
Captain Solar is able to launch Nova energy blasts and even generate solar flares from his solar reserves. Part of his Solar power allows him to fly.

Appearance

Adam Carnell is a handsome and towering man with a muscular physique. He has striking blue eyes and a chiseled jawline. He has dirty blonde hair which he likes to style in a ruffled and carefree manner. Coupled with a sexy stubble, it gave him a rugged and manly look that swooned the hearts of his countless fans.

The hero’s muscled body is a sight to behold. His massive arms are wildly veined from the daily grind at his personal gym at the train yard. On his majestic torso, his budging chest is lightly haired, with large round dark-pink nipples that protruded out proudly, even under his suit. A well-defined set of abdominal muscles curve onto his muscular frame, completing the perfectly proportioned physique.

As Captain Solar, he wears a yellow long-sleeve spandex top that hugged his muscular torso, showcasing all of his raw masculinity. An “S” symbol rests on his broad chest. Red highlights framed his shoulders, chest, and wrists. For his lower half, he wears maroon trunks over his black spandex tights with a matching set of maroon boots. His iconic red cape flows freely behind him. A yellow mask completed his heroic look.

Personality

Captain Solar is the shining symbol of heroism. He always protects and saves innocents with a wide bright smile. His iconic smile warmed the hearts of his people and struck fears into his enemies. That said, the Solar hero is extremely friendly with his huge popularity within and outside of his city, Kant City, always taking his time to interact with his fans and aspiring heroes.

His fatherly attitude pushes his young heroes to strive harder. He takes pride in grooming the young saviors of tomorrow, is quick to give encouraging advice, and celebrates their accomplishments.

The hero had always carried a singular goal which is to be the light of hope for people during harsh times. It slowly shaped Captain Solar to be the symbol he is today.

With his seemingly endless competency and charisma, Captain Solar rose to become the leader of Kant City Guardian and a symbol of hope and peace. No matter who or what he faces, Captain Solar would come out triumphantly each time, battles after battles, inspiring his peers and the world.

Origins

Marrying Sarah Jenkins, the love of his life, was the most cherished memory the hero had. They were deeply in love for the longest time he could remember. Sarah was his childhood friend and supported him throughout his life. They respected and trusted each other with their whole selves. Adam shared everything with her, including his powers and hero identity.

Shortly after their marriage, a bundle of joy came to the young family. Derek was his name. That was the second most cherished memory of his. Seeing his young boy standing, walking, and growing up, was everything the Solar hero wanted.

They were his most treasured people in his life – his loving wife and son. But that was also his greatest weakness.

Despite his sunshine positivity, a dark fear seeded and grew within him each day as he watched his son grow up.

W-What if one day I lose them both?

His bright smile, once a gesture that served to assure and calm others, grew to become more of a way for Captain Solar to mask his own fears and insecurities from his peers and citizens.

Being the leader of Kant City’s Guardians, he was bound by duty to serve and protect his city and his people. It was not easy to step down, especially when the threats are constantly on the rise.

As time passed, Captain Solar began to lose sight of his basic principles of heroism… Until he met one of his mentees, Boy Azure, an enthusiastic young hero with righteous values and overwhelming heroic morals.

Protection.

A new light spark within him. Protect the two people he loved most in the world!

After all, Adam Carnell was the great hero, Captain Solar.
