Located in the eastern parts of Earth 12-04, the mysterious Misty Forest lies between the Empire of the Sands and the Pacific Water Continent.
The continental forest spanned over a large landmass and was constantly shrouded in a thick and unforgiving mist. Its mist is not ordinary fog but a spiritual barrier, hiding the forest from greedy nations. Wandering travelers entered and were never seen again. Stories of demons and monsters about the Misty Forest abounded. Nations were afraid to explore the depths of this strange forest.
At its heart stands the Sacred Tree of Eternity Mist, a colossal world tree whose roots dig deep into the soul of the land. A collection of clans consisting of humans and beast-men resided around the Sacred Tree, dedicating their lives to protect the legendary World Tree from the adversities that threaten it.

Eternalis Village
Encircling the Sacred Tree of Eternal Mist lies Eternalis Village, a thriving settlement where dozens of clans dwell in unity beneath the tree’s ever-shrouding mist. Though modernized with stone pathways, flowing aqueducts, and protective barriers, the village’s design remains inseparably bound to nature. Homes are shaped from living wood and woven vines, appearing as though they grew directly from the forest itself.
Each clan contributes to the village’s survival and the tree’s protection, creating a self-sustaining society with little reliance on the outside world. Farmers cultivate rare mist-fed herbs and crops found nowhere else in Virdia, while beastmen warriors stand watch at the fog-veiled borders. Artisans forge charms, weapons, and tools infused with spiritual energy, their craft bound to the blessings of the Sacred Tree.
At the heart of Eternalis, however, are the Mystics—those chosen as vessels of their clans’ spiritual animal blessings. They are both protectors and living symbols of their people’s bond with the eternal mist. To the villagers, a Mystic is not merely a hero, but the embodiment of a sacred legacy, carrying their clan’s spirit until the day it passes on to the next worthy heir.
STEM Mystic Headquarters
Nestled at the massive roots of the Sacred Tree of Eternal Mist, lies the STEM Mystic Headquarters—the central gathering place of the Mystics. This revered site is both a sanctuary and a command center, where the chosen protectors of the Sacred Tree gather to safeguard their home and uphold their ancient traditions.
The Mystics are humans or beast-men gifted with spiritual animal blessings, extraordinary powers tied to legendary creatures such as wolves, falcons, serpents, and stags. Mystics stand as guardians of both the Sacred Tree and the Misty Forest beyond. Their blessings manifest in diverse ways—enhanced strength, elemental control, healing, or the ability to channel their spiritual animal directly in battle.
Each clan within the forest has one Mystic, chosen by fate to inherit the clan’s blessing. If a Mystic passes away, the spiritual blessing flows to the next chosen member of that clan, ensuring the cycle of guardianship never breaks.
Abysmal Forest
It wasn’t always known as the Abysmal Forest. Until recently, the forest had been blooming with life and teeming with all sorts of rare plants and wild animals.
But today, this has become a dreaded region on the eastern edge, where the mist thickens into darkness. The trees here grow twisted and blackened, their roots dripping with shadow. Strange black creatures, grotesque in form, dwelled around this forest. Some crawl on elongated limbs, others slither faceless through the fog; some have no eyes, yet sense every movement, while others open mouths impossibly wide, filled with rows of jagged teeth.
No one knows where they come from, but they speculate that a hive of malicious monsters had infested the deepest parts of Abysmal Forest, spreading corruption. Countless Mystics had been sent on missions to investigate, but rarely any returned to tell the tale.
