From the mountainous region of the Pacific Water Continent, Benji grew up in a small Pacifician village. His family was rope weavers that helped support the village’s primary source of income through fishing. 

As he got older, his wild and exciting ambitions quickly outgrew what the village could provide. So he took up more odd jobs, juggling roles from shipbuilding to fishing. Over time, he developed his flexibility and strength. But life was boring for Benji.

One day, his grandma invited him into her room. Knowing that Benji was a free-spirited boy, she shared their family’s history as rope weavers. A family heirloom lit up in one of her possessions and glowed towards Benji before fading away. His grandma’s eyes widened before she calmed down to a smile. Benji looked at his hands as they glowed yellow. Something warm filled his spirit.

His grandma told him that it was a blessing from their ancestors. He shouldn’t be tied down to a life of a rope weaver. Instead, go and explore, she told him.

With that, he ventured into the neighboring continent, the Republic of Cindra. He took on many odd jobs like before, living paychecks after another until he found something he loved. A role of an aerial acrobat. It was almost as though he was a natural with the ropes.
