Hoshi So is a large and muscular man with jet-black hair and mysterious black eyes. His boyish good looks and his gorgeous smile pulled on the heartstrings of his countless admirers. In his casual wear, he is usually seen in his black jacket over a white shirt.
Gifted with the Blessing of the Black Bull, Hoshi was built literally like a bull. His powerful shoulders were the size of bowling balls. His chest was bulging with two gigantic slabs of pure muscles. His cobblestone abs were the dreams of countless bodybuilders. Tapering down to a thin waist, Hoshi had a perfect V-shaped body. Not to mention, supporting the bull stud were two sinewy legs with beautifully sculptured calves and hamstrings.
As Asterion, the hero wears a white full-body spandex super-suit with yellow and red highlights. He does not don a mask, showing off his striking good looks. Across his heroic chest was the symbol “A”, which glows a deep red, indicating his auric powers. As his power depletes, the red glow on his chest would flicker and completely dull when he ran out of energy.
Personality
Asterion is a kind and caring hero that constantly looks for his peers and protects his citizens from harm. He is not afraid to throw himself into harm’s way if he can act as a shield for the people who need him.
In his free time, Asterion would volunteer at the infirmary to heal and treat anyone wounded or ill. He strives to make sure that whoever comes to him for help will leave his hands in the pink of health.
The hero does possess a more narcissistic side. He prides himself on his perfectly proportioned and muscular physique. He often compared himself to a sturdy bull – powerful and unstoppable.
Origins
Located in the eastern parts of Earth 12-04, the mysterious Misty Forest lies between the Empire of Sands and the Pacific Water Continent.
The continental forest spanned over a large landmass and was constantly shrouded in a thick and unforgiving mist. Wandering travelers entered and were never seen again. Stories of demons and monsters about the Misty Forest abounded. Nations were afraid to explore the boundaries of this strange forest.
Hidden from the rest of the world, the Sacred Tree of Eternity Mist was located at the heart of Misty Forest. A collection of clans consisting of humans and beast-men resided around the Sacred Tree, dedicating their lives to protect the legendary world Tree from the adversities that threaten it.
Among the clans, the minor human clan – Clan of So, was governed by the spirit of the Black Bull, and the leader of the clan was blessed with its divine blessing of healing.
The Clan of So had two sons – Tsuki and Hoshi. Tsuki So was the elder son and the holder of the boon, while the young Hoshi So worked hard to follow in his brother’s footsteps.
At a young age, Hoshi looked up to his much older brother, having a close bond with Tsuki. Whenever Tsuki went on missions, Hoshi would make a promise with his brother for a safe return and eagerly await. The young boy will smile widely each time Tsuki comes home, who never fails to tousle his hair playfully and give him a big brotherly hug.
One day, however, Tsuki did not return as promised. Hoshi waited by his clan’s entrance for hours. As the days went by, Hoshi feared the worse. His family was in chaos. There was no news of his brother or his mission team.
Finally, his worst fear came true. Hoshi awoke a few days later with a red glow on his chest. It was the Blessing of the Black Bull. His eyes watered. His screams were muffled only by his tear-soaked pillow.
As the new leader of his clan, Hoshi was forced to take on the clan’s helm as Asterion, the unfaltering bull hero, to continue protecting the Sacred Tree of Eternal Mist. Deep in his heart, he hoped to find out what had happened to his beloved brother, Tsuki, one day.
