Abilities (Level)
Superhuman Strength, Endurance and Reflexes (A)
- Captain Dynamo can lift and strike with devastating force, rivaling the strongest of metahumans.
- His nervous system is charged with electricity, giving him lightning-fast reactions in combat.
Energy Projection (A)
- Captain Dynamo can channel and manipulate electricity as powerful blasts, arcs, or concentrated strikes. He can also recharge himself by drawing electricity from external sources (lightning, power grids, even other electric users), allowing him to fight longer and hit harder.
Flight (B)
- Captain Dynamo can propel himself through the air at supersonic speeds, leaving streaks of red-and-white energy trails behind him.
Weaknesses
Stamina Drain & Energy Dependency
Extended use of high-energy attacks can rapidly deplete his reserves, leaving him exhausted. If cut off from external electricity for too long, his reserves deplete, leaving him vulnerable.
Susceptibility to Manipulation
His cocky belief in his own willpower makes him underestimate psychological or chemical control.

Appearance
Captain Dynamo was the perfect image of a classic superhero matured into his prime. Standing at 6’3” and weighing a solid 230 pounds of sculpted muscle, he carried himself with the confidence of a man who knew exactly how good he looked.
His body was a masterpiece of strength and definition: thick, powerful arms that bulged whenever he clenched his fists, a broad chest and torso that stretched tight against his suit, and a ridged six-pack that looked carved from stone. His strong jawline, sharp cheekbones, and piercing blue eyes gave him an undeniably handsome, commanding presence, while his slick dark hair and trademark confident grin sealed his reputation as both a hero and a heartthrob.
His bold red-and-white suit was emblazoned with lightning insignias across his chest and shoulders, making him appear larger-than-life in the skies. Dynamo wasn’t just powerful—he was magnetic, the kind of man whose sheer physicality made heads turn even before his powers lit the air.
Personality
Captain Dynamo embodied everything people thought of when they imagined a superhero—charismatic, daring, and endlessly confident. He thrived in the spotlight, often cracking jokes mid-battle and showing off his strength with a smile, but beneath the bravado lay a streak of arrogance.
Dynamo believed in his abilities wholeheartedly, sometimes to the point of recklessness, often diving headlong into danger without considering the bigger picture.
His teammates often saw two sides of him: the cocky showman who could frustrate them with his recklessness, and the steadfast comrade who would throw himself into danger without hesitation if it meant keeping them safe. He was playful and witty, yet proud to the point of arrogance, which made him especially vulnerable to villains who knew how to bait or manipulate him.
Origins
Jason Cross grew up in Kant City as a natural athlete and thrill-seeker, always chasing the next challenge. His powers awakened in his teens when a freak lightning storm nearly killed him—but instead, he absorbed its energy. From then on, Jason discovered that his body could act as a living conductor, drawing power not only from his own reserves but from external electrical sources around him. He could feed off anything from city power grids to lightning strikes, recharging his strength mid-battle.
When he took on the mantle of Captain Dynamo, his flair and raw might made him a perfect superhero candidate for the Kant Alliance. There, he quickly developed a friendly but fiery rivalry with Captain Solar, the Alliance’s Hero Leader. The two often clashed in training and on missions, each vying to outshine the other—Captain Solar’s radiant composure against Captain Dynamo’s wild energy. Yet their rivalry forged respect, making Dynamo push himself harder to close the gap.
Among the team, his closest bond was with Rockhide. Where Dynamo was flashy and impulsive, Rockhide was grounded and steady. Their friendship balanced them both, Rockhide often acting as the anchor to Dynamo’s storm. The pair were inseparable in battle, a duo of unstoppable offense and impenetrable defense—but also brothers in spirit, their banter and camaraderie legendary within the Alliance.
